Just used mine for the first time.

Gotta say, I had been doing the same thing for years using a toddler snack bowl and wet paper towel – same size as an english muffin and works just as well.

I will say that maybe this device is a little better designed…my make shift bowl would always splatter when cooked for 1 min – I’d have to cook for 30 sec, stop and let rest for a few, then cook another 30 sec, so maybe the design has been tweaked.

I tried used a ceramic bowl, but eggs would stick, and the bowl would get ridiculously hot!

  19. BobToad says:

All you really need is a bowl. And for the egg separator, you can use a plastic bottle.

  20. mjazz says:

First time i tried it the lid blew off.

my mom bought me this and the top exploded and the egg flew everywhere

  24. Katikas says:

My mom can make an omelette or fry some eggs or sumthing in the morning in about a minute… And how is it so hard to make an egg sandwich? Just make some omelette or something, take two slices of bread and put the egg in between them both. Saves money that you could probably buy a mansion with someday (Or in my case at least an apartment where I have room to do stuff)

  26. SwagAnator 312 says:
