    30 day warranty isn’t long enough if you are buying for Christmas. I’m going to have to wait until some time in December to buy it, in case we want to return it.

    I could make something just like this. First you get two thick wooden dowels, and glue them to a slab of wood. Then, did you notice the thin stick with the hoop at the end that prevents the yarn from tangling as you use it? Just glue on an old bubble wand. Then search the internet for instructions on how to use it, and follow those instructions. Sure, it may be lower quality, but who cares when it works and looks relatively nice? Please comment on how it works for you if you try it.
