Excerpts from the Storyland Yoga website…

Storyland Yoga is an educational-activity-entertainment DVD for kids age 3-8. Storyland Yoga engages kid’s imaginations through live-action, storytelling and animation while also giving young children a great yoga workout. Storyland Yoga is winning praise from parents, health professionals and educators and has garnered multiple awards including the The Parent’s Choice Award, considered to be the “Oscar” for children’s products, Dr. Toy’s 2010 Best Green Product award, given to “innovative products…which inspire children to take better care of our natural resources” and Creative Child’s “Preferred Choice” seal of approval, sole winner in the 2010 “Environmentally Friendly” category.
What sets Storyland Yoga apart from other kid’s yoga products is two-fold. First, it utilizes the educator-proven technique of storytelling to hold a child’s attention. Secondly, Storyland Yoga offers tips and insights into kid’s connection to animals, nature and the planet. Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor Ahmed Fahmy takes little yogis on two fun-filled adventures, Save the Whale (18:30) and Condor Trek (23:10), in which they learn yoga poses by imitating animals while gaining interest in the planet by helping endangered species. The video connects kids with nature and, at the same time, provides the benefits of yoga: health, clarity, and calmness. Produced by Playful Planet, Directed By Bryan Duggan.
