I used to feel sorry for the people who buy cars and trucks with lots of plastic on the exterior. Their shiny new vehicles would always look good for a year or two until the sun and the elements began to fade them.

But not anymore. Now they have an affordable product that can restore that like new finish and keep it that way for years with Wipe New Car Surface Restorer!

Wipe new is the latest “As Seen On TV” product to hit the car care category and it is impressive. It claims to restore any plastic or vinyl surface on your car and keep it looking fresh and shiny for years!

We decided to test out Wipe New’s claims on a few different vehicles and were quite happy with the results. We decided to apply it to both my wife’s older model minivan as well as a friend’s Cadillac Escalade EXT.

The directions were easy to follow and the results were impressive. We could only apply Wipe New on a few mirrors and trim work on the van, but the difference was quite noticeable. We were able to get an even better result on the Escalade as it has spent the past few years outside and had extensive UV exposure.

Now obviously we were unable to test whether or not the finish from using Wipe New would stand up for years, but based on the results thus far we are cautiously optimistic.

The only downside we came across when testing Wipe New is the need for hand protection when applying it. Granted, it comes with a pair of nitrile gloves, but if you have very few surfaces to restore, the product will definitely outlast the gloves!

We were pretty impressed with Wipe New and decided to rate it 4 out of 5 stars. To get your own bottle visit the official Wipe New site or look for them in our As Seen On TV Blog Store’s Automotive page.

That wraps up what we think about Wipe New but what are YOUR Thoughts? Be sure to rate it for yourselves and leave us comments below!

Your suppose to put armorall on the f**king rag before you wipe the dash.

  2. Robert Schenk

i put armorall on first and let it soak… that’s just me. Might have to try this stuff. The cladding on the Avalanche sucks when it fades. This could be the next best thing next to Refinish Restore

  3. this product does not work do not buy it you will waste 72.00 because they automatically double the order, ripoff do not use this product

  4. Michael Skinner

the second guy in the video with the white chevy avalanche is my former boss. His name is Bill Oshier of Chesapeake, VA. The company is Superior Masonry of Tidewater, Inc. I miss you man. Thanks for the job man.

I have used “Plastic Renew” motorcycle and ATV plastic restoring kit for years on my cars with the same results shown here. about $20 for 8oz kit at any motorcycle dealer.

This is a complete SCAM!!! If you notice the man in the video who claims to be a professional detailer is the same one in the full car restoration videos for Wipe New. And they are all produced by the company selling this product. And they have removed all neg comments from his videos. He is probably in on this scam somehow or owns this crap. In his 4 part series he uses a big spray bottle of this stuff, and tells you to spray down your engine bay. You know how far 3 oz would go doing that?

He has removed my comments on his videos because they were negative! I keep posting them and he keeps erasing them! DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF! IT RUINED MY 1967 MUSTANG AND NOW THE MUSTANG IS IN THE PAINT SHOPE WITH A HUGE BILL TO FIX THE PAINT AND PANELS! I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THIS COMPANY BUT YOU CAN’T GET AHOLD OF THEM! i AM WORKING WITH A LAWYER IN PORTLAND,OR TO HOLD THESE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE!

  11. heavynumbertaco

First off the guy who said this stuff ruined his Mustang should sue the bodyshop that’s charging him a huge bill to fix the paint.I’ve been painting cars for 40 years and anything hat you can wipe on a car can be easily removed with the proper cleaner.Secondly YTF did you put it on a painted surface? Its obviously for plastic or other porous surfaces.Lastly,it’s just like any of the other restoration products out there, this one just might last a little longer

  12. If you have to refute their product good luck.

The bottle they sent me was not enough to finish one car.
The tiny rags they charge you for is a not worth the shipping.
You can use a q-tip tooth brush, and a old piece of towel to do the procedure.

the product works so far but half a car?
I want my money back. lol I will not hold my breath.
Make sure when and if you order that you use a credit card and tell them at wipenew you will dispute it if the product does not cover two cars bumper to bumper and the dash etc.
